Get ready for what most certainly will be a regular installment here on Cell Phones Zone. “Its weird, and it involves Cell Phones”. Well, thats the title for now, it could change, and quickly. But will not change is the massive amounts of news out there that involve cell phones. Lets just limit this to the top 3 for now…….
- Talk about a way to get the most out of your pet! Police in China have apparently stated a
warning against dogs that suspiciously sniff, or take interest in locals’ cell phones. Apparently, it’s common for criminals in the area to train their dogs to sneak into people’s homes to steal mobile phones that are then sold on to unknowing buyers. Thanks to Geek Sugar for the heads up on this one.
- I always had such a high opinion of the good, smart folks at MIT. Then I stumbled upon this story. “The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Museum recently concluded a workshop series, entitled “Take Better Pictures with Your Cell Phone and Win Big.” The participants – consisting mainly of MIT students, faculty and staff – explored the capabilities of camera phones as emerging new tools for art. “Instead of duplicating a digital camera, embrace the flaws of what it is,” said Gary Duehr, photographer and the workshop instructor.” Really Gary? And why would we embrace crappy cell phone cameras? And much less have a course about it at prestigious MIT? Thanks to Studio Lighting for the tip on this story.
- And finally, what happens when you have a bored group of teenage girls, a video camera, and about 12 cell phones? Apparently a Cell Phone Wedding. Make it stop!
