Its not too difficult to see why the new Samsung Ultra Smart F700 is getting so much attention from the cell phone blogs around the web of late. Not only does it look pretty sharp but has some great features to boot. If the 7.2 megabit HSPDA doesnt impress you, there is always the slide out QWERTY board, (we love to say QWERTY) and a 2.78 inch touch screen with a drag and drop feature and full HTML browsing, bluetooth, and a 5MP camera, with auto focus, if you need it. But, as our Engadget buddies point out, the ole US doesnt get the phone, but rather a more stripped down version. Um, wow, thats still quite an impressive piece, could be the biggest challenger to the IPhone? Ill say one thing, Samsung is not the company I expected to compete with the IPhone. Some are already labeling it the IPhone Killer, but, thats not likely to happen without a stateside release. It gets its official unveiling at next week’s 3GSM World Congress, a telecommunications exhibition in Barcelona.
